he Institute of Greece, Rome, and the Classical Tradition at the University of Bristol is delighted to offer Morgan Scholarship for 2017-2018 academic year. Home/EU and Overseas applicants are eligible to apply for this scholarship programme.

                                                                            


The aim of the scholarship is to enable and encourage academically able students from any nationality.

The University of Bristol is a red brick research university located in Bristol, United Kingdom. It received its royal charter in 1909, and its predecessor institution, University College, Bristol, had been in existence since 1876.

Degree Level:
Scholarship is available to postgraduates interested in an MPhil at the University of Bristol in the UK.

Available Subject:
Scholarship is awarded for a student working on any topic in the ancient Greco-Roman world or its reception.

Scholarship Benefits:
Scholarship of £5,500 value will be awarded for 2017/18 academic year.

Eligibility: The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for the scholarship:

This award is open to full-time and part-time, Home/EU and Overseas applicants. Overseas applicants may use the amount as part payment of their tuition fees.
The scholarship will be offered to a student who has been accepted for a one-year MPhil or for the first year of a PhD.
To be considered, you must have received an offer of a place at the University of Bristol and accepted it by Monday 8 May 2017. If you have already applied to Bristol for Masters study, you will automatically be considered, and do not need to apply again.

Nationality: Home/EU and Overseas applicants are eligible to apply for this scholarship programme.

Entrance Requirements: The scholarship will be offered to a student who has been accepted for a one-year MPhil or for the first year of a PhD.

English language Requirements:
Applicants from outside the home country will often need to meet specific English language/other language requirements in order to be able to study there.
